We had a birthday coupon, so we came. I usually eat a salad and always recommend to my husband that he gets the sashimi, and he did. We both liked what we got and this visit the service was about as good as it s ever been here. The only thing was that we could not get enough ginger to keep my husband happy. The place plays loud music, which we are never fans of because we are older? Somewhat better this visit but we still had to help another customer be heard when he wanted help.
I like coming here for lunch, alone. When I have time to do nothing- the prices are better and I can read a magazine and enjoy. Glad they are hiring better servers, or we got lucky this time. Upon entering, guests are greeted by Asian-influenced accents like glowing, bamboo-style lanterns, red globes suspended from the ceiling and artwork of a stunning, Samurai sword-wielding woman. Energetic music plays throughout, giving RA an upbeat, fresh vibe. The restaurant does offer a menu of traditional sashimi dishes and served-to-order sushi, along with innovative and progressive signature rolls like the Toosty Maki and house-favorite Viva Las Vegas—a lightly tempura battered creation that pairs spicy tuna, crab and sliced lotus root. In March RA expanded its second floor patio with a swank setup and dubbing it the Geisha Lounge. Went here with another couple before going to a show. Specialty drinks were very tasty. From therw it went down hill. Server highly recommended the lobster to my brother. He said it was very bland and very small pieces. Husbands dish was just okay. My tofu dish Server seemed shocked that I asked for some rice. I was perplexed by my dish. It looked like a big bowl of soup with freshly cut tifu cybes in it?!
