All it takes is a newspaper and some scissors to save hundreds of dollars on groceries each month. ShaiMarie Guzman, an Orlando resident for 18 years, started couponing five to six years ago. After having her first child, Guzman and her husband struggled for money and eventually were evicted from their apartment. She was driven to couponing so she could save money for other expenses, like bills. Guzman started the Facebook page three and a half years ago when she noticed that many of the good deals were gone before she could get to them.

Remember Me? Trader rating: Can anyone help me? We currently have NO store that does double or triple coupons. How do I save money? Can anyone help me?? You can still save A LOT of money by matching sales with coupons. Publix is a fantastic store in Florida where many people save a lot. I think the key to saving is not to try to "extreme coupon" but rather have a small stockpile for you and your family in the beginning.
Read all the information here. There is TONS, but you have to put in the time and effort to get a big savings. I suggest you begin with one grocery store and one drug store and work up from there. Learn those really well first. Check out the forums for those stores here and read, read, read and ask questions. Many here are willing to help.

I actually live in TN, but am going to Florida at the end of the month. I have a huge group that I will be feeding all week, and just realized that unlike here in TN no one in FL doubles coupons Within just a mile of where we are staying is Publix, Winn Dixie, and Target, so I have to make the most out of sales and coupons.
Any advice? I m in California and there isn t a store anywhere that doubles. It is possible, you just need to do your research! This site has helped me tremendously! There is hope! If Publix had more competitors for instance I bet they would start doubling Miami only has winn dixie and sedanos Exactly what Morihuel 66 posted -- competition amongst each other. I have about 10 grocery stores within a 5-mile radius from my home. Just odd I think. Wal-Mart is the only store here in Utah that double coupons, and only on Tuesdays.
I haven t mastered couponing. One if my friends lives in Maryland and she is an extreme couponer due to double and tripling. Something you may want to check out if you have a Whole Foods. So, it was quite the deal. It runs through August, I think. Decorating for Fall, crafting for Christmas! Well someone is lossing out here and I think it is me!!! SLanceDid ya see KiKi race last weekend? I would guess it would be based on competition in the area, but I still don t get why Florida doesn t double. I live in Atlanta and all grocery stores double here. The 2 main grocery stores are Publix and Kroger, they re on every corner. Then you have Aldis, a very few Ingles stores scattered around and farther out from the city a couple of Bi- Lo stores, but that s it.
Maybe it s because we have Kroger in our area and it s such a large chain, so Publix gets a run from their money from them. IDK, would love to know the answer to this one BB code is On. The Best Extreme Coupon Deals in Central Florida – As Seen on Good Day Fox 35
Florida s largest grocery chain tightened its coupon policy Wednesday to discourage shoppers from overusing coupons and buying up everything on a shelf. Among the changes, Publix now limits shoppers to using eight of the same coupons per day, per household. It defines a household as a single family, meaning you can t have your 3-year-old hand coupons to the cashier at checkout. The guidelines also limit dollars-off coupons to one Publix and one competitor s coupon per day, per household.
What you didn t see were stores bending over backwards to let those shoppers break all the store s couponing policies, just for the opportunity to be featured on the show. Extreme anything is ridiculous, and sometimes even dangerous.

Secrets of Extreme Couponing: Amazing stockpiles
This store makes it easy to extreme coupon. Overall, this is a pretty straightforward and fair policy. Meaning, you could actually end up leaving the store with more money than you came in with. So fun! To make the most of this, extreme couponers look for coupons that will generate overage typically health and beauty coupons ; then, they use that overage to reduce the cost of produce, meat and other items that you rarely find coupons for. With as many things as Walmart sells, you could even put your overage towards clothing or plants, if you wanted to. Also, know that Walmart is committed to honoring any limitations that the manufacturer has put in place. And if it says you can only use one coupon per transaction, that s what you need to do.

Marlene Ramirez is what is known as an extreme couponer. Ramirez calls it her "stockpile. Her southwest Miami-Dade home looks like a small store with inventory stacked up on shelves and in a packed freezer. In her refrigerator, she points at 12 packages of brand name hotdogs and says, "all those hot dogs were for free, plus the sausages which are in the freezer. As Ramirez gave NBC 6 a tour of her home, she showed off her bedroom where she keeps another "stockpile. Each week, Ramirez collects coupon magazines in the mail and newspaper. She also picks up coupon magazines she calls "green and purple" at the entrance of Publix. Last, she goes in search of what she calls "blinkies" which are coupons that come out of dispensers on store shelves. For example, she puts the Smart Source flyers in one file and the Red Plum inserts in another. After filing them, she reads blogs that tell her what store special can be matched up with her coupons for even more savings.

You know you can make some sacrifices to get from the high-end of that range to the low-end. You absolutely can! I still shake my head in disbelief when I look at what my family has saved in just the first three months of this year. Recent experience has shown me that there are essentially 4 levels of couponing that range from casual to extreme. Levels 1 and 2 are well known, but levels 3 and 4 are starting to become more popular. This is where many people find themselves today. Most of the time, a person will pay for a whole cart full of groceries while handing over less than 10 coupons. They end up normally saving a few bucks off the entire order.
